Base Dough
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

¾ cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

½ cup dried cranberries, roughly chopped

½ cup pistachios, chopped

Optional: ½ tsp salt (if you like a sweet-salt balance)
