Here’s a moist, fluffy, bakery-style Banana Cake that’s perfect with or without frosting. It uses real bananas, stays soft for days, and works great as a sheet cake or layer cake.


🍌✨ Super Moist Banana Cake

Serves: 12–16
Prep: 10 minutes
Bake: 30–35 minutes (9×13 pan)


Ingredients

Dry

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt

Wet

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2–3 bananas)
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

🧁 Instructions

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9×13-inch pan or two 8-inch round pans.

2. Mix Dry Ingredients

  • In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

3. Cream Butter & Sugar

  • In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy (2 minutes).
  • Add eggs one at a time.
  • Mix in mashed bananas and vanilla.

4. Combine
